Day Trading Forex Market Behaviour

Filed under: Finance Information — admin at 12:09 am on Friday, August 31, 2007

Technology advances like the internet have spawned a new craze, where anyone with a secure internet connection prepared to undertake a small amount of training can engage in trading foreign exchange on the forex market.

Just as a day trader will closely track stock price movements on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, all over the world forex traders monitor currency fluctuations in a similar fashion.

Forex traders have the aim of using the smallest amount of one currency, say the US dollar, to purchase another currency like the British Pound. If supply of the pound lessens in a busy market, it will cost more dollars to buy pounds, and the forex trader hopes to sell their pounds at a higher than their purchase price. In many respects, this type of trading behaviour is very similar to trading in stocks, where the aim of nearly all traders is to buy low and sell high.

The trading process works under a bid/ask system. In the above example, a forex trader might bid 10 dollars in return for 5.7 British pounds, and the seller of the pounds could be asking 11 dollars for the same amount of pounds. If the seller accepts the bid, the trader then hopes the pound continues to increase in price, so that when time comes to sell, they can get in excess of the 10 dollars initially paid.

As only registered traders have access to this auction process, most online speculators will trade through a bank or broking house. Such brokerages charge a commission for facilitating the trades, and forex traders should consider these transaction costs when calculating their selling offer when time comes to exit their position, as this will influence their profit margin.

The global foreign exchange market can trade in excess of a trillion dollars a day. Sheer market size means there is considerable money to be made, and lost, through miscalculation. It is neither a guaranteed, nor easy path to riches, so traders should be educated in how to play the market. Instructional packages are available, and should be carefully reviewed as they can easily range in quality and price.

Do You Know The Alternatives?

Filed under: Online Gender Issues — admin at 10:54 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2007

The potentially fatal toxic shock syndrome, concerns about the
environment and irritation are just some of the reasons why
woman today are becoming more aware of the alternatives to
conventional sanitary products. Here’s a quick guide to some of
the options available…

Cath Wanless, 37 made what some women might consider a radical
decision to give up using traditional tampons over three years
ago. She says “Tampons have always made me feel dry and
uncomfortable and I was also worried about the risk of toxic
shock syndrome. I was also concerned about the environmental
problems they caused, not to mention the fact that traditional
tampons used to infuriate thrush which I’ve suffered from for
years.”

“So I launched my quest for a natural alternative and began
experimenting with alternative forms of sanitary protection. I
initially tried the Mooncup, a reusable rubber cup which you
wear internally to collect the blood and found it reasonably
comfortable and easy to use.”

“However, the real breakthrough came when I stumbled across Sea
Pearls on the internet. They’re a natural, reusable sea sponge
tampon and they’re amazing! The idea may seem a little unusual,
and it may take a little getting used to but they’re
surprisingly easy to use and certainly no messier than
non-applicator tampons.”

“Moreover, I haven’t been hit with a single bout of thrush
since! My life has been transformed from miserable itching fiend
to normal human being. Every woman should know the alternatives
that are available, after all it’s a natural and unavoidable
part of every woman’s life.”

There are a number of reasons why women want to swap to more
natural menstrual products. Liz Sutton of Women’s Environmental
Network (WEN) explains; “Rayon, which is used in many tampons,
has been linked to toxic shock syndrome. It’s a rare disease but
it can be fatal. In Britain we flush away four million sanitary
items a day. They block sewers and some of them get washed out
to sea. It’s better to bag and bin them but this can add waste
to landfill sites. There are many natural products on the
market, you just need to find one that suits you”. The
Alternatives: • Sea Pearls Available in packs of 2 for £7.99,
lasting six months or more from health food shops, chemists and
beauty salons. They can also be found online at
www.seapearls.co.uk. • The Mooncup Available from larger Boots
stores, priced at £19.99 or by mail order for £17.99 at
www.mooncup.co.uk. • Natracare’s non-chlorine bleached organic
cotton tampons and towels are available from supermarkets and
chemists or by mail order at www.natural-woman.com.

Choosing Keywords: What They Don't Tell You

Filed under: Animal Stuff — admin at 10:31 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2007

Website Design What They Don’t Tell You

Let me start off by saying that I am no web design expert but I have designed a few websites and the biggest challenge I found was choosing keywords. It seems like it would be easy but it is not.

Choosing keywords and keyword placement is the foundation of getting indexed properly in search engines, choosing the correct ones and placing them on your web page is not an easy task. First off your keywords or key phrases have to make sense so that a person visiting your website can understand what you are saying. All well and good, we can all do that. The problem comes when a machine is sent to look at your page all of the sudden it no longer looks the same. Take this page for example http://www.globalwebmonitor.com, after reading this page you would know the following things about this company:
•Global Web Monitor sells business services.
•The business services are designed for IT departments, website owners, web hosts and website developers.
•The primary service Global Web Monitor sells is called Global Up Time.
•Global Up Time is a monitoring service.
•Global Up Time monitors websites, servers, networks and ports.
•Global Up Time can do port security checks on servers and firewalls.
•Global Up Time emails, phones or pages customers if one of their monitored items goes down.
•Global Up Time can save its clients time, money, customers and business reputation.
•Website monitoring is priced as low as $4.95 per month.
•And finally you have the option of a 30 day free website monitoring trial.

Unfortunately the search engine robots and spiders are just machines and see this page completely different. If you run the keyword density program from Google for the web page http://www.globalwebmonitor.com you get keywords and key phrases that are completely useless to this particular website. A second problem that affects this web page is the stop word list that is used by many search engine spiders. The third problem with this page is words under 3 characters are filtered out. So what happened to the Global Web Monitor main page is that they ended up with key phrases like:
•Global time monitoring
•Servers network appliances
•Global monitor overview
•Status pages overview
•Time monitoring
•Services global
•Monitor overview
•Sign trial
•Account enter
•Check systems
•And my personal favorite – Eliminates human

This is by no means all of the keyword phrases that were generated from the Global Web Monitor home page but you can see that even these few would drastically alter the way this web page would be indexed. If I were to look at these key words and had nothing else to go on I would think this website was about some “Human eliminating global time monitoring network appliance”, not website monitoring services. As a result, most of this web page needs to be reworded in such a way that the key phrases that are important to this website are placed with different words before and after each key phrase. Also the name of the monitoring service needs to be removed a few times.

When you run into a problem like the one on this page the best thing to do is get out the thesaurus and alter the wording on the page until the keywords that you want to represent your page equal around 12%. Use the keyword density tool found on Google http://www.googlerankings.com/kdindex.php to determine the percentages. Oh and make sure that completely unsuitable key phrases like ‘eliminates human’ are not too prominent in the keyword list.

Internet monitoring is a necessary part of having internet service. Whether you allow your children to surf the web or if you have the need to monitor employees, effective programs can be used to help you to do this simply. There are many aspects that can be monitored and the results can be delivered to you privately. No one needs to know that you are using internet monitoring technologies either.

There are many options when it comes to internet monitoring. No matter what your need is in these products, you can expect to use high tech gadgets and software. But, they are simplistic to use. Many software programs that monitor internet usage will tell you such things as how long the individual was online as well as what websites they visited, who they chatted with in instant messages, as well as anything that they input into the web. Emails can be tracked as well as a number of other things.

Why should you use internet monitoring? If you are not sure your employees are using their time on the job for job related tasks, this can help you know for sure. If you are unsure of who your spouse is chatting with at night, consider the use of these monitoring solutions. Do you know if someone is stalking your child as they play games on the web? If they use instant message software, find out who they are talking to and what they are saying. Internet monitoring is really a necessary part of keeping people safe and your business under control. Effective internet monitoring software products can be purchased and installed quickly and discreetly. Be in the know.

Why Working on a Cruise Ship Could be the Best Thing You Ever Did!

Filed under: Media Infos — admin at 3:49 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2007

How would you like to be able to visit some of the worlds most exotic, beautiful and far away places that few people will ever get to see? Including the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Far East, Australia, Europe, Canada, and USA?

Imagine waking up each day in a different, exciting and unique tropical island, the sun shining, the weather hot, the sea crystal clear - and the only decision you have to make is which beach you’re going to visit that day!

Imagine always having plenty of cash and doing all those exciting things you’ve always wanted to do: jet skiing, jeeping around exotic islands, learning to scuba dive, trekking through rainforests, whale watching, hiking to waterfalls, swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in crystal clear sea, shopping in unique countries or simply relaxing on the best beaches in the world.

Imagine having many great friends of all different nationalities from around the world - all living, working, socializing and enjoying amazing life experiences together.

Did you know that YOU COULD DO ALL OF THIS while being paid a great tax-free income for doing it?

Does this all sound like a pipe dream to you? It really isn’t, you know. This is exactly how thousands of other people are choosing to live their lives right now, as we speak. This is exactly the life that I have led. This is exactly the life that YOU too could be living.

If you’ve already thought about getting a job on a luxury cruise liner Chance are that probably already appreciate some of the incredible benefits of working in this unique, exciting and fascinating industry.

But let’s get one thing straight…

Why do YOU want to work onboard a cruise ship?

It’s important to be able to answer this apparently simple question, before applying for cruise ship jobs.

Why?

…Because unless you have a clear idea for the reason you want to do it and know exactly what you want to achieve, you may apply for the wrong positions, but worst of all you’ll struggle to find the motivation to follow through with it. Your efforts will be doomed to failure!

That sounds rather harsh, but think about it for a moment…

You’re attempting to embark on one of life’s great adventures, your success will largely depend on the impression you give to a potential cruise ship employer and that only comes from knowing your reasons for wanting to do it.

So grab a pen and paper and write down your main objective in no more than ONE sentence.

I don’t want to over-influence your ideas, but here are some of the many reasons why people decide to work onboard a cruise ship:

* TRAVEL THE WORLD Cruise ship jobs provide the perfect vehicle from which to visit the most exotic and beautiful destinations on earth. Often you’ll travel to places that you would never get to see in your lifetime through ‘conventional’ travel.

* TO DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE Working onboard a cruise ship makes you a VERY interesting and attractive person. You get instant respect, even recognition. It’s unusual and different and people naturally want to talk to you about it. “What was it like?”, “Where did you go?”, “I wish I’d have done that” (a VERY common reaction!). Even potential employers are INTRIGUED when they see on your resume that you once worked on a cruise ship! You’ll feel VERY satisfied that you actually did something exciting with your life.

* TO SAVE MONEY The potential to save a lot of money is fantastic! You’re being paid a great income (tax free) and you have ZERO expenses - no board to pay, no food to buy and no bills to settle each month. Every cent you earn goes into YOUR pocket and no one else’s. You are free to do whatever you like with that money, whether its save for a deposit on a house or a new car. Or blow the lot on amazing life experiences in exotic ports of call! The choice is yours.

* TO MEET OTHER PEOPLE With up to 1500 crew members onboard each ship you WILL meet and make many great friends (even partners) with new, interesting and exciting people. And with 70+ different nationalities working onboard, you’ll often find that your closest friends are from exotic faraway places too!

* TO START A NEW CAREER Never forget, a cruise ship job doesn’t have to be a ‘one-off’ opportunity. A whole new glittering career awaits you - if you want it. Opportunities to develop your career are massive and cruise lines almost always promote from ‘within’.

* HAVE SOME FUN! Isn’t that what life’s all about? And “fun” comes with a capital “F” when you work on a cruise ship!

As I’ve mentioned above… there are many other GREAT reasons to work on a cruise ship, so don’t be over-influenced by my list. But do grab a pen and get your reasons down on paper.

Effective Care And Treatment Of Adult Acne

Filed under: Looking Good — admin at 1:49 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2007

Adult skincare can be a challenging task even under the best of circumstances. Working to maintain healthy looking and feeling skin can be a complicated and time consuming task even for a person who is not afflicted with any type of troublesome or bothersome skin condition. Any man or woman who is afflicted with adult onset acne has additional challenges to face and meet in dealing with skincare related issues. With that said, by keeping some basic facts and following some proven treatment regimens, a person suffering from adult acne can achieve success in reigning this particular skin condition into control in the not too distant future.

Understanding the Causes of Adult Onset Acne

In reality, the primary causes of acne in adults are not all that different from what causes acne in children and teenagers. Indeed, in some instances when it comes to trying to trace the exact cause of adult acne, the task can be rather difficult as it is with younger people, including teenagers. In many instances there can be multiple reasons why a person becomes afflicted with acne as an adult. In some instances, an adult experiences an outbreak of acne due to improper skincare efforts. A person in such a situation is not properly cleansing and treating his or her skin on a daily basis. As a result, oils and dirt can build up on the skin causing there to be an outbreak of acne.

Additionally, there is some evidence to suggest that diet can play a role in the onset and development of acne in adults. There are a significant number of myths associated with foods and acne. However, the bottom line is that if a person does not eat a healthy and well balanced diet on a regular basis, he or she become more prone to the possibility of becoming afflicted with acne. Stress has been demonstrated to be a cause of acne in some men and women. Of course, stress can have a number of different negative consequences if it is not properly dealt with in an effective manner. On occasion, a person develops adult acne in response to different environmental conditions. In this regard, many people overlook the fact that their very homes can be the sites of contaminants in the air and in other areas that can result in different problematic conditions, including adult onset acne.

The Importance of Thorough Skin Cleansing

The most important step in dealing with (and preventing in the first instance) adult acne is a thorough and regular skin cleansing and washing program. For example, when it comes to the care and treatment of the skin on your face and neck, a person needs to make certain that he or she thoroughly cleans and washes his or her skin at least twice a day with an effective and appropriate facial cleansing product. In this day and age, there are some reliable skin cleansing and treatment products on the market for people who are suffering from acne, including adults and young people. An example of such a product that has proven to be most effective in properly cleansing skin and treating an acne condition is ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse®. Additionally, ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® has been demonstrated to be effective in preventing acne outbreaks on the first instance.

The Necessity of Exfoliation

In addition to making certain that a person utilizes an effective skin cleansing product on a regular basis, that person will also want to make certain that he or she regular exfoliates the skin. Exfoliation is vital for the removal of dead skin cells, dirt, debris and oils that otherwise can accumulate on the and in the skin. By not regularly exfoliating, these waste products can accumulate on the skin, clogging the pores and then establishing an environment ripe for an acne outbreak.

Viable Skin Treatment Regimens

As mentioned previously, it is important for a person to utilize reliable and viable skin treatment regimens for the care and treatment of acne. Unfortunately, there is a wide array of different products on the market that are not in fact effective in the care and treatment of an acne condition. As a result, it is imperative that a person use only those treatments and products that have an established track record for successfully resolving an acne condition. Also as was mentioned earlier, ZENMED™ Derma Cleanse® is an example of a product that has proven itself successful in the care and treatment of acne, including adult onset acne.

Conclusion

While the outbreak and presence of adult acne can be a frustrating experience, there are now solid methods through which a person can work to resolve an adult acne condition. By following the tips and steps outlined in this article, an adult can be well on his or her way towards combating an acne condition. Additionally, by paying attention to the tips delineated in this article, an adult can work to prevent an outbreak of acne in the future.

I have studied the major aspects of acne treatment for many years now and have only found one solution that works with a natural product. You can find all the information and products offered here: Adult Acne Treatment.

Ecommerce With Quality Budget Hosting and Free Software Solutions

Filed under: The Commerce Compass — admin at 9:26 am on Thursday, August 30, 2007

Want to have an online store but can’t pay the fifty bucks a month or more for a real ecommerce hosting solution? Why not get your store and take credit card payments for under ninety dollars a year?

So you have something you want to sell right? Ebay is good and every other marketplace online, and there are thousands of them, but you just want your own little e-store. You want to experiment and learn some things and maybe make a little or even alot of money but the common ecommerce hosting solutions are a bit out of your desired price range.

In this article I will quickly go over some easy and very affordable choices you have to get to your intended goal. These choices will be based on a combination of good, quality budget web hosting and a couple of the many free ecommerce software solutions out there.

An easy and free way to take credit card payments online is to get a paypal account. Paypal provides many solid services to online merchants and is easily the most popular online payment gateway available. They offer integration with ebay auctions as well as buttons for people to purchase things from you and also a fully customizable shopping cart. Go to www.paypal.com to find out more.

If you only have a few products to sell Paypals shopping cart may work well for you. You can just stick pictures and information about your products on a web site and add Paypal buttons for each product.

Certain hosting providers have a spot on their hosting control panels to easily install ecommerce scripts. With the click of a mouse you can have a full featured ecommerce solution ready to add your products to. Usually this includes stuff like product reviews, new products, specials, paypal or other payment gateway integration and news letters.

One of my favorite free ecommerce scripts is called osCommerce. Most web hosting companies provide easy installation for this. Good web hosting is usually between $70 and $120 a year. Add a payment solution like Paypal to this and some good products and you have your site. Now you have to market it. Thats another article altogether though.

UK Government Unveils Points Based Immigration System

Filed under: Radicals and Others — admin at 9:24 am on Thursday, August 30, 2007

As previously reported by “Immigration Matters” the government has finally unveiled its plans to change the entire UK immigration system to one based on points: the more in demand the skill, the more likely the individual will be able to come to the UK. In this special report we assess how the new rules will affect the care industry.

All the current work permits and entry schemes will be replaced by a five tier points-based system, the aim being to only allow entry to those whose skills will benefit the UK. The more skills you have, and the more those skills are in demand, the more points you will gain, increasing your likelihood of entry to the UK. European Union workers will not be affected. See www.workingintheuk.gov.uk.

THE FIVE TIERS

Tier One: Highly skilled
People in this category will automatically gain enough points to come to the UK without a job offer and seek work or set up a business. This group would include doctors, scientists, and top-flight entrepreneurs. Workers in this category will have the most flexibility in the UK and greatest opportunities to settle for good.

Tier two: Skilled with job offer
As expected this will cover people with qualifications or important work-related experience in a huge range of sectors from health service workers to white collar jobs and the trades. People in this category will be given points based on their talents and will be allowed into the UK if they have a job offer in a “shortage area” such as teaching or nursing. Those applying for workers to fill other jobs will have to go through the Resident Labour Market Test to prove the job cannot be filled by the resident workforce and workers will need to gain sufficient points to qualify – see below.

Tier three: Low skilled
The government has already started phasing out schemes which allow temporary migrants to fill low skilled jobs to jobs in the catering and hospitality sector. It will now end permissions for agricultural workers from outside the EU in favour of workers from the expanded European Union, although it adds that it may allow controlled quotas in certain sectors.

Tier four: Students

This covers students paying for tuition in the UK and reflects the importance that universities and colleges attach to income from overseas. Overseas students are said to be worth £5 billion to the economy and are a valuable source of labour for care homes.

Tier five: Temporary workers, Youth mobility
This will include professional sports people or professional musicians, who want to “work” in the UK for an event such as a football match or a concert. The youth mobility aspect is intended to cover cultural exchanges or working holidays by young people.

WHO DECIDES WHICH WORKERS ARE NEEDED?

The Home Office will establish an independent “Skills Advisory” board to supply accurate information on where the gaps exist and recommend changes. So, for instance, if in one year there is a shortage of care assistants in the UK, the board may recommend awarding more entry points to foreign carers. A few months later it may suggest cutting the points available as the gap is plugged, a situation which could leave employers lurching from one crisis to another. On average it takes two months to get an overseas worker into the country, so employers need a clear and consistent long term policy rather than short term quick-fix solutions.

There will be sanctions against overstaying. Workers in some sectors prone to abuse will be expected to hand over a financial bond, repayable when they leave at the end of their visa. Employers themselves will be fined £2,000 for each illegal worker.

The government says that the new system will effectively end the migration of low-skilled workers from outside the EU. This is however a complicated issue and the system allows the government to open up routes should shortages emerge.

Some organisations which lobbied the government during the consultation for the system argue that a block on low-skilled workers from outside the EU will exacerbate illegal migration. Two sectors which rely on cheap non-EU labour are cleaning companies and Indian and Chinese catering. They now have ex-Europe Minister Keith Vaz on their side expressing “reservations” about the scheme.

The care industry has been less vocal however Martin Green at the ECCA has raised this issue with the Options for Excellence Board and with Cross Bench Peers in the House of Lords. These new proposals will hurt employers and staff and at first glance of the government’s document our predictions (see www.immigrationmatters.co.uk) could be proved correct.
Senior Carers from countries like India and The Philippines could be frozen out altogether. The points system currently proposed is heavily weighted towards shortage occupations, people applying for jobs paying over £18000 and those with UK equivalent degrees. Since a Senior Carer position is not currently considered as a shortage occupation, does not pay anywhere near £18000 and Filipino and Indian degrees are not considered by UK NARIC (the National Agency for the Department for Education and Skills) as UK equivalent, care homes are going to find it virtually impossible to employ care staff from outside the EU. This will not only stop new recruitment but prevent employers from extending work permits for existing staff.

The proposed model, which is still “subject to revision following further modelling”, illustrates that a person requires 50 points to qualify for a work permit. People applying for jobs in “shortage occupation” areas such as nursing will qualify automatically, but others will face stiff tests. They would need a UK equivalent Bachelors degree and be applying for a job that pays more than £18000. The problem for people applying from countries like the Philippines, India or Pakistan is that their qualifications are unlikely to be classed as UK equivalent. To add to their woes the salary range for a Senior is from £11500 to around £15000.

Based on this model you’d need a PhD from Harvard to qualify for a care job

I was speaking at the “Skills to Care Event” last week, organised by the Surrey Care Association. Erica Lockhart, the Chief Executive of Surrey Care Association Ltd, estimates that between 60% – 70% of staff employed in care homes in the Surrey area have come from overseas.

When care homes are already struggling to fill vacancies and Dame Denise Platt, Chair of the CSCI, is warning that “staff shortages are putting patients at risk” the last thing we need is an immigration crackdown.

The Home Office are holding a series of meetings for employers this month and have said are still prepared to listen. Should you have any strong views on the changes you can email the Home Secretary, Charles Clarke by visiting the House of Commons website: http://www.parliament.uk/directories/hciolists/alms.cfm#C.

Collectible Sports Memorabilia

Filed under: Sports Resources — admin at 9:16 am on Thursday, August 30, 2007

COLLECTING sports collectibles or sports memorabilia, antique or modern, is limited by two factors: the money available and the space to be filled. Having determined these basic essentials, it is then a personal matter. The taste of the collector may lead to Baseball Memorabilia, Basketball Memorabilia, Football Memorabilia, Golf Memorabilia, NASCAR memorabilia, Diecast Collectibles, Bobble Heads, Hero Posters, or innumerable other things. The lucky acquisition of an admired piece may lead to a determination to get more of the same, or at least to find out what the admiration is all about.

An encyclopedia definition of Sports Collecting would go something like this: “The hobby of sports collecting consists of acquiring specific sports items based on a particular sporting interest of the sports collector. These sports collections of sporting things are often highly organized, carefully cataloged, and attractively displayed.” A sports collectible (or collectable) is defined as a manufactured item designed for people interested in sports to collect. The term sports memorabilia usually refers to items related to sporting that can be directly connected to a recent or historical sporting event or sports personality. There are many people that collect these sports memorabilia and collectibles.

Since collecting depends on the interests of the individual collector, it may deal with almost any subject including sports collectible & sports memorabilia. The depth and breadth of the collection may also vary. Some collectors choose to focus on a specific subtopic within their area of general interest, for example Baseball memorabilia of the New York Yankees, Basketball memorabilia of the Los Angeles Lakers, Football memorabilia of the Dallas Cowboys, Golf memorabilia of Tiger Woods, NASCAR memorabilia of Tony Stewart, Diecast collectibles of fire trucks, Bobble Heads for any sport, & posters of heroes such as Lance Armstrong. Others prefer to keep a more general collection, accumulating any or all Baseball memorabilia, Basketball memorabilia, Football memorabilia, Golf memorabilia, NASCAR memorabilia, Diecast collectibles, Bobble Heads, or Hero Posters.

When the NBA, MLB, and NFL began selling their basketball, baseball, and football jerseys in stores during the 1980s, game used jerseys also became a hot item among sports memorabilia collectors. Former NBA player Dennis Rodman was famous for taking off his jerseys and throwing them to the stands after his games were over. Michael Jordan is probably the basketball player whose memorabilia is most sought after by collectors. Today’s stars include Ben Roethlisberger, Shaquille O’Neil, Nomar Garciaparra, etc. These players seem to be pushing the already popular area of sports collectibles and memorabilia to a new level of acceptance to the public.

Collections can take the form of a single item such as a signed baseball, football, or basketball. Collections can also take the form of a series of items, such as jerseys from each member of a particular baseball, basketball, or football team. A NASCAR collection of hats from different drivers is very popular. Golf balls with different logos are especially popular. The cost of any sports collectible memorabilia item is directly proportional to the popularity of the sports figure with which the item correlates. The more popular the sports figure, the more money the sports collectible memorabilia item will demand. The whole sports collectible memorabilia industry is driven by supply and demand. The more demand the higher the price and vice versa. Also, the more supply of an item, the lower the price. Sports cards would be a good example. Only so many of certain cards were ever made. Those carry a higher price than those that were made in bulk. Quality is a very big determining factor in the price of any sports collectible memorabilia item. In general, the better the quality, the higher the price.
